Sud collection

The Fall22 collection draws on ancient Italian traditions and culture, becoming an ode to craftsmanship and traditional techniques passed down through generations. The designer celebrates the lifestyle and natural beauty of our country, as an invitation to slow down and live a simpler life. The 100% silk jacquard fabrics were made using looms from the late 1800s, in collaboration with Fermo Fossati’s excellence from Como. The handmade crochet flowers decorate the cotton mesh stitch that was created ad hoc and recall the traditional Apulian gardens. This multi-sensory botanical experience, through a variety of shapes and colors, takes us on a journey to exotic lands. Flora is found mixed with animals in the iconic “butterflies” prints on cotton-silk and in the “heron blue” on linen and fluid silk crepes. The palm motif is hand[1]brushed in the Palmito design, created as all the motifs of the collection in collaboration with Carlotta Varrenti from Eau de Papier, and also created in cotton jacquard as part of the knitwear section. The highly refined and resistant suites in linen and juite recall the textures we would find in the Apulian Masserie. A Resort collection for the cold seasons, characterized by different weights such as the textured cottons of Clerici or silk crepes to be used all year round. The jackets and pants, constructed with modern tailoring, are comfortable and practical in their incisive aesthetics and dryness of details. That’s why they make this collection one that can also be worn in urban environments. The knitwear is made of noble and natural fibers with sustainability certifications and made in Veneto. The campaign for the “Sud” collection was shot in the beautiful complex of Ostuni Art Resort, in the heart of Salento among olive groves, products of the earth and simple incomparable flavors.
