Our mission: recovering from the past to protect the future
BENNU was born in February 2021 with the aim of recovering garments and fabrics from deadstock and
vintage wardrobes, and reducing new clothing production, and the pollution that it caused.
BENNU adopts a slow fashion approach, far from the seasonality of the collections and the frenetic flows of
fast fashion. All the collections are made by a limited number of pieces.
The responsible approach is linked to all the production steps: fabric scraps are upcycled and reused in the
clothes customization process.
The selection and the control of the supply chain ensures the respect towards environment and workers.
The production is made by small sartorial labs or social tailoring, with the aim to ensure work rights and a fair
wage to everyone who is involved in the making process.
