PHILOSOPHY OF DETAILS
When we look at an object, we do it, at first glance, in its entirety, we look at the whole because this is the first level on which our attention is focused.
Next, our attention turns to the particular, to the detail; it enters “inside” the object and grasps its intrinsic meanings and values.
The detail characterises the object, makes it unique and is its soul.
When the object of our gaze is a garment, the detail definitely makes a difference, it elevates the aesthetics and meaning to a higher level because it is with the detail that the author characterises his work.
