Women’s Collection

Fall-Winter 2024/25

The sun’s rays are slowly lighting up the sky, slipping between the slats of the shutters and brightening the day of a woman who is getting ready to leave the house to face the challenges of the city with class and elegance, taking from her wardrobe clothes that can accompany her on any occasion, from the most formal to the most mundane. This is the starting point for the new Women’s Collection by Kiton, the epitome of Italian tailoring in the world. A dynamic and sophisticated woman who knows what she wants and who, without sacrificing comfort and freshness, enjoys her work and her life in clothes that make her feel secure and comfortable, sure that they will accompany her for many years to come and will never go out of fashion. Between all-white looks ranging from crêpe to double cashmere, with an interplay of fabrics and patterns reminiscent of yarns, playing with colour and three-dimensionality, the Kiton woman could not be more dynamic, proud to dress the quality of a garment in its intensity and weight. Together with white and powder pink, paired with double pile jacquard coats and, above all, short jackets and wide crêpe trousers that hark back to the sophistication of the eighties, Kiton proposes a journey on which there is no rigidity, but where sophisticated materials and master craftsmanship remain the watchwords.

Along with fine fabrics such as Glen plaid and embroidery that disappears tone-on-tone to make way for the print, we also find nuances veering towards dusty browns and camels paired with black and white, as well as the combination of cashmere and silk. All this creates an effect of depth and intensity of rare power. Amongst the markings of fabrics that intertwine and brush against each other with the same delicacy as the hands of the dancers in Edgar Degas’ paintings, and the same threads that are mixed in different and surprising ways, there are garments of particular beauty, such as the double-breasted Glen plaid jacket and the double camel coat in a black and white super overcheck that is so soft and frothy that you don’t feel like you’re wearing it. In this muted palette of yarns, weights and colours, blacks and whites could certainly not be missing, worked into macro herringbone patterns made from Donegal cashmere and styled into skirts that match very fitted and feminine jackets as well as modern, sporty coats.

Darker colours, such as black and blue, which fade into a more denim-like tone for a sportier, dusty effect, and volumes such as the super-oversized shirts in cashmere with knitted yarns, also guarantee the dynamism that naturally enhances a woman’s femininity. And while the evening looks are all about bright red, both in the form of a shimmering dress and a suit inspired by a sleeveless dinner jacket with matching cashmere coat, the versatility of the collection is also underlined by an après-ski capsule collection, with trousers in white and grey that evoke a print that is both snowy and marbled, proving that these technical garments are just as suitable for a walk in the mountains to enjoy nature as they are for everyday life in the city.

Combined with bags that bring to life different volumes and colours to bring out the quality of the fabrics, the Kiton woman is both curious and adventurous, capable of not being caught unprepared at any moment of the day, from the most sporty occasion to a sophisticated evening cocktail party, and appreciating the harmony of colours and materials that allow her to create combinations that are ever simpler and more sparkling. For a balance that is acrobatically rooted in the comfort guaranteed by soft, comfortable fabrics and a masculine-inspired jacket which, in this collection, takes on an elegance and style of its own, combined with a femininity and character as indestructible as a stone that becomes firmer and more inimitable with the passing of time.
